You may wonder why you not so often find Taiwan tea in the European tea shops.
It is of excellent quality, - among the best you can find -, and that is the reason why the taiwanese drink almost all of it themselves, and leave so little to the rest of the world..

The North Gate.

This wonderful structure is the only surviving city gate of old Taipei that has its original appearance.  It is the North Gate, - or Cheng En Gate -, and it can be found in-between a mess of heavily trafficked modern main roads, intersections and flyovers coming from all directions.
Two more city gates exists, but they have been rebuilt and does not show their original appearance, but this one, - the North Gate -, is the real thing.
