Peitou Hot Springs

Peitou is a high lying district to the north of Taipei. Here you can find a valley with streams of hot water due to geothermal action in the underground.  The valleys is therefore shrouded in steam from those hot springs, and creates a ghost-like atmosphere between the trees.
I knew this place from before, - but I had no idea that it was close to Yu Youren's house, which is just within walking distance from a big pool which emits lots of steam.  We wanted to go further up the Yangminshan mountain to try to find Chiang Kai-shek's house, but could not find a taxi at Yo Yuouren's house, and started to walk, - and soon we saw clouds of mist above the trees, and decided to investigate.  And here it was; - suddenly we found ourselves just in the middle of one of Taipei's major tourist attractions, although we in fact had no plans to go there from the start.
Luckily enough it was outside the tourist season, and therefore not crowded at all.  It is worth to see.
