Here a series of good shots of a "Riga Class" frigate, - No. 853 -, photographed during  passage of the Dardanelles/Bosporus Strait into the Black Sea  on May 23. 1980.
The characteristic "wasp head" fire control radar is clearly seen.

A/S Weapons: 2 - Anti Submarine Rocket launchers, 2 -Depth Charge Racks
Torpedo Tubes: 10 pcs. (2 x 5 pcs. 16' (406 mm))
Mines: 22 pcs.
Propulsion: 1 diesel, 6000hp., - 2 gas turbines 30.000 hp, - 3 shafts, - 32 knots.
