"Samka"
Coaster, - the oldest of the "Caroliner" type, - now museum ship.
Built in Marstal, Denmark in 1956 as replacement for the sail driven ships.
TDW.: 240, - LOA.: 33,5 m, - Beam: 6,49 m, - BHP: 240 -  9 knots

"Caroline S"

Here some pics of the last of the 22 "caroliners", - the "Caroline S" -, commissioned in 1959.
She is now owned and operated by a private association of volunteers with the purpose of running and maintaining the ship in its original appearance.





"Caroline S"
Another "Caroliner", - another representative for the type of ship that replaced the sailing ships.
Dwt.: 240, - Length: 32,3 m., - Breadth: 6,3 m., - Draught: 3 m., - Propulsion: 198 Kw. - 9 Knot.
Launched in 1959 as "Janto", - renamed "Jane" in 1965, - renamed "Caroline Samsø" in 1994, - and is now named "Caroline S"
